Gordon is a member of the British Academy of Composers and Authors and The Music Publishers Association. He is also a member of the Good Turns Society and a Barker in The Variety Club children's charity.

He is proud to be vice-president of the world famous Morriston Orpheus Choir, vice-president of Llandudno Town Brass Band and Honorary Patron of Bridgend Male Choir.

He was the first producer to record a 12 year-old Charlotte Church

His recording of 'Spanish flea' was featured in the Hollywood blockbuster 'Oceans Eleven' starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
